Colour treatments

Woodpro recommends that you treat your summer house on the inside and on the outside, so it’s protected against all weather conditions. You can treat your summer house yourself, or we can do it for you.

Summer houses can be treated with a spray pre-treatment, pressure treatment or paint treatment. Every treatment has its own benefits and you can choose between different colours. The colours you can choose between are transparent graphite grey, transparent brown, transparent light grey, transparent white and colourless. Even the doors and window frames can be coloured: white, graphite, brown, light grey and colourless. You can also colour your roof one of the following colours: black, blue, brown, green or red. So it’s possible to apply three different colours, for different parts, to your contemporary summer house.

Insulation

Do you want to use your summer house throughout the whole year, perhaps as an office or fitness room? Don’t forget to insulate it. You can insulate it in different ways. We have floor insulation, roof insulation and wall insulation. It’s also possible to insulate your whole summer house so that the heat stays inside and you won’t get cold feet when you walk around barefoot.

If you choose to add doors and windows to your summer house, you get double-glazed windows, cylinder locks and many more standard additions with them. We have two different roofing options. You can, for example, choose an apex roof. With an apex roof, you can create extra space for storage and rainwater will run off it. You could, though, choose a flat roof. Flat roofs are the most popular choice of roof. They are easy to install and when it’s time to replace it, this is very easy to do by yourself.
