The wood in our log cabins

At Woodpro, we use high-quality kiln-dried timber for our log cabins that come from Northern European countries with cold climates. The cold temperatures mean that the trees grow slowly, and thus the growth rings of the trees are closer together.

This makes the timber more durable and stable. During the production process, we also minimise timber shrinkage by using special drying rooms to kiln dry our timber to a moisture content of approximately 14%-16%.

We cut the wood ourselves in our own production facility to ensure millimetric precision, enabling the perfect assembly of our log cabins. The log cabins we produce all have windproof and watertight corner joints to ensure the best protection for your garden building. Because of this attention to detail you are not buying a log cabin that will last for just a few years, but one that will last a generation.

In the Configurator, you can design your own log cabin from start to finish. Once you’ve chosen a template you will be able to see a 3D model of the log cabin you have chosen.
